As a young man I hoped for a time when racism was slowly eliminated by interracial offspring.......essentially making any individual races unrecognizable. My thinking was based on the belief that if we didn't have outstanding characteristics to distinguish us as "other", we wouldn't have reasons to hate each other. I'm grown up now, and convinced that even if we were all one indistinguishable mix of races, hatred would still find a way to survive. We would single people out who are left-handed, have receding hairlines, have accents or something else stupid. (Hatred and stupidity go well together, and can only be treated, not cured)
Now I just want to see progress instead of regression. MAGA = regression and hatred celebrated. 😢
