Beyond Sober is new to me, but I'm happy to learn that more 12-step alternatives are surfacing. AA has enjoyed absolute dominance in the field of recovery while achieving a dismal track record of actual success, at least regarding percentages. I'm happy to acknowledge a 5 to 12 percent success rate of all alcohol addicted people still equals a huge number, even a success rate of 15% is unimpressive. I'm grateful and perhaps even lucky that I finally broke free. (No thanks to AA) Blaming people that struggle with relapse because they're not living their program correctly is nonsense and super convenient for the indoctrinated.
Thank you for sharing!
