Congratulations!!!! As a product of the alternative school system, I would like to acknowledge how important it was for me to have that option as a troubled teen. I became friends with teachers who were some of the most talented and compassionate human beings I've ever met. I was inspired and pushed to succeed by teachers at the indigenous and public alternative schools I attended. I'm nearly 60 now, and just an average guy, but I wouldn't have finished school without the influence of some fantastic teachers in the alternative school system.
