Did the higher ups responsible for the miscommunication ever step forward and accept their part in creating the issue? To me, that's huge, and it speaks volumes about the people you're working for. (Some companies are great at showcasing their support, but privately refuse to acknowledge the fact that they're not perfect) If subordinate employees are always thrown under the bus by their less-than-courageous managers, trying to be at peace in the workplace is extremely challenging. Some office/work cultures are healthier than others and some are dysfunctional, hostile environments where most employees hate pulling into the parking lot every morning.
Hopefully you work for a healthy company!!!!!
These suggestions for navigating stress are very good! (I'm a male with a very demanding and masculine inner bitch that I try to quiet with daily, morning meditations. 😊✌️)
