Hi Brenda. My decision to leave Chicagoland wasn't driven by my concerns about civil unrest. Realistically, the Chicago area would probably be safer if things get horrible in the US because it's mostly liberal, and multi-cultural there. I had to leave because I couldn't find work in my industry. I was making enough to survive working in a logistics office, but it wasn't my field, and the multitasking was breaking me down. I actually feel less safe here, especially when I venture off from tribal lands. It's unsettling how many rural people embrace dangerous conspiracy theories, lies and the hatred they're gorging on from media sources like Fox News.
