I accepted a job from an American company that was opening a new service facility in Toronto in 2014. I discovered how difficult it us to enter Canada as a worker the hard way. The company that recruited me had no experience with placing US employees into their new Canadian facility and it created a tragic mess for me. In my case, I had a boss (The owner and Fox News viewer) who was arrogant enough to think I could just show up at the Canadian border and tell them I was going to stay in their country for 2 years to train Canadian citizens. NOT!!!!! I had a passport and a tribal ID, and that was all this company believed was necessary for me. Canadian customs and immigration was furious!!!!
Thanks for sharing!
