I agree entirely, but your article does make me think about how society largely canceled cigarette smoking in public places. Complaining about smoke and criticizing smokers forced a huge change, because let's face it, smoking in grocery stores, on planes and in hospitals was fucking stupid and unhealthy. I quit drinking and smoking too, and I never felt a need to crusade against alcohol or tobacco..........but some people do, and maybe on some level, that's not a bad thing. Perhaps those annoying, preachy voices are what get the ball rolling and initiate change when profits and clever marketing dictate what's acceptable instead of common sense.
Just a thought, but I agree that we need to give everyone space to make their own lifestyle choices.
