I follow a writer from Costa Rica (Your Native Friend is her pen name) and she echoes your sentiments. I'm nowhere close to wealthy and would only flee the US to stay out of a re-education camp, but those with the resources will be expatriating and living comparatively luxurious lifestyles at the expense of struggling locals and likely treating them like second class citizens. I didn't learn Spanish and have limited resources, so if orange Jesus starts locking up dissenters, I'll be fleeing to the woods I guess.
