I now wonder if I should have raised my son on the premise of choice between believer or non- believer rather that the premise of choosing his beliefs as I did. (I'm 60 now, and he's 31) I didn't present non-believer as an option. Now the idea of no afterlife scares him to his core, as it did me when I first turned my back to my beliefs. If children aren't brainwashed with Santa-like ideas, they're less likely to be manipulated by religion as adults.
This is a great topic! 😊✌️
