I think after musk took over twitter, it gave the greenlight to the most vile and hate-filled maga to flood the zone, perhaps giving an inaccurate picture of the typical trump voter. If you see what's been invited to that platform, it would be enough to make you wonder if maga people are safe to be around.
I think it's unfair to assume they're all dangerous assholes, but I think it's also unwise to ignore those magas who are truly dangerous and evil. (J-6 types) We're more divided on the fringes, but the lunatic fringe generates more viewers, readers and listeners.
