I would be thrilled if the industry simply admitted that their products, though legal, are highly addictive drugs that adversely affect our communities. Not likely. Many former drinkers aren't willing to admit that their drinking was also "drugging". Does anyone find that the cancer/health risks are more worthy of mention than the highly addictive drug, fact???? Drunk driving fatalities, emergency room accidents, alcohol related domestic violence ect, all take a back seat to health risks that can also be attributed to unhealthy diets. I have no wish to ban alcohol consumption, but the marketing is out of control. Most "responsible drinkers" would continue to purchase adult beverages without all of the insane advertising. $$$$$$$$$$$$ is a nearly invincible opponent.
