I'm a lifelong NFL fan and was heartbroken when the Detroit Lions were eliminated. Any other season, I wouldn't have cared about this Superbowl, but once I began to see how Taylor's popularity triggered certain political pundits, my passion for the event intensified 10-fold! I'm a rock-roll diehard, and wouldn't know a Taylor Swift song if it bit me in the arse, but I was pulling for Taylor's boyfriend all the way! Every time the camera focused on her, I smiled, knowing this extraordinarily powerful woman has the ability to cause some uptight, insecure macho-men to feel so threatened! It was a beautiful evening!!!
