I'm happy to congratulate anyone that chooses a healthier lifestyle. Just because alcohol is legal doesn't mean it's a safer drug. Unless I'm horribly mistaken, it destroys as many lives or more than most "street drugs". Someone loving a fine wine, craft beer or single malt scotch, isn't standing on higher ground than someone that enjoys the quality or purity of other, illegal substances, unless they merely taste it, or never swallow enough to never feel the effects. People that choose to drink shouldn't fool themselves; they're taking a drug. It's perfectly legal, but no less threatening to one's well-being. There's absolutely no shame in turning your back to that, even if you're not addicted. Comparing the statistics on addictive substances is pretty enlightening, but nothing beats the simple comparison of how your own life feels, with and without it. Excellent choice!!!!
Thanks for sharing. 😊
