I'm in a transition period that places me between residences; essentially unhoused, staying in a tent at our tribal gathering grounds while awaiting housing to open up on our reservation. I am learning to absorb and develop gratitude for the sounds of nature around me everyday. Sand cranes are large birds that have a unique song they sing while flying overhead, howling coyotes often sing me to sleep, and owls frequently hoot "Good morning" to me as an early waking person. Nature's ultimate jam band!!!
After years of hearing commuter trains, air traffic and emergency vehicle sirens, the contrast is very distinct!
Thanks for sharing!!! 🎶✌️
