I'm suspicious of "studies" that conclude there are health benefits from moderate alcohol intake. They're often funded by an industry giant or committee of distilleries/wineries that will profit from the claim. Most alcohol consumers would continue purchasing their drug of choice whether or not it was heavily marketed, but the industry will continue to invest millions of dollars in advertising to reach/hook more people and generate as much profit as possible by convincing consumers that their products are safe & sexy. I think these "health studies" are just another tool for the industry to market their drug. I'm happy you're able to dismantle their ridiculous claim!
