I've read that cannabis is the 2nd most common drug for emergency room visits, behind number one, alcohol. What I have a difficult time finding is information on why. My guess would be over-consumption, and people just freaking out because they're too high and simply need someone to hold their hand until they come off the ledge. I would imagine there are a number of stupid accidents like stoners using chainsaws, but I think the number of visits that require a medically, life-saving response, pales in comparison to alcohol or other drugs. Thoughts?
