Most religious people attribute everything to God though. Whether it's athletes thanking God for their team's victory, or religious radicals using school shootings and natural disasters as examples of an angry God. I recently saw a LinkedIn post about the power of prayer, where a bus full of tourists was stranded in a flash flood. As most passengers started praying, emergency responders showed up and saved everyone at the last minute. How many people faced with certain death, pray, only to have their final memory on this earth, be of a God that didn't show up? (The answer is most) Wise religious people seem to know better, but your article addresses a real problem.
