People and their publications reveal their true nature by how they reply to your submissions. It takes more effort to craft a snotty rejection than it does a supportive and compassionate one. Encouraging people and being kind is free man. If your submission isn't suited for their publication that's one thing, but "big timing" a person that opens up and decides to submit their work is just slimey.
