Sadly, anti-science/"Don't Look Up" parents will work hard to make sure their children dismiss climate change as a hoax. After all, they've become more knowledgeable and qualified than experts and educators by simply watching YouTube, conspiracy theory videos, uncontested political opinion networks, and reading clever memes on facebook. The careful planning/funding that goes into creating groups like "Moms for Liberty", is a disheartening reminder that a hostile climate isn't our only crisis.
