There is zero attention given to preparing people for the responsibly handling power. None. Not in school, not enough in law enforcement and certainly not in business. I don't think it's a mystery why so many narcissistic people are attracted to and find comfortable places to flourish in the corporate world and on police forces. Our society seemingly rewards and encourages chasing and acquiring power. Isn't acquiring possessions others can't have, a form of power? I haven't even mentioned politics, but you covered everything brilliantly.
